Increase your intake
of water: Get into the habit of drinking
water before and after each exercise session
and throughout the day.
Warm up everyday: Spend
5-10 minutes of cardio work on a stationary bike
or a treadmill.
Don't Workout on
Empty:
While you don't want to exercise immediately after
eating a large meal, eating about 2 hours before
exercise can help fuel your exercise and help you
avoid bonking during your workout.
Maintain focus on
during your workout: Concentrate on the
proper form and speed of each exercise. Don't
rush!
Eat a healthy diet: Eliminate
junk food from your diet and include healthy foods
rich in Omega3 fatty acids and complex carbohydrates.
There is a wealth of knowlege available on the
internet regarding healthy exercise diets.
Listen to your body: Exercising
when you have pain is one of your body's signals,
and it's the fastest way to develop a serious or
persistent injury. Minor aches and pains can easily
become chronic overuse injuries that plague us
for years. If you feel pain during exercise, stop,
rest and look for the cause of the pain.
Get proper rest: Get
7-8 hours of sleep each night.
